What if I can't stand or walk?
Is it possible to use this app if I can't walk or stand?
Yes! Even if you need to play in sitting, or use your assistive device for standing, you can still play.
ARWell and ARWell PRO have accessibility settings that allow users to control the tasks even when they’re unable to walk or stand. Some tasks can be controlled using hands or arms only, while others may require you to use a modified “weight shift” setting, so you lean side to side to move the avatar across the screen. If you need to play seated or while in a walker, gait trainer, stander, or just standing still (it's not so safe for you to step side to side, but you can stand up safely), you can go into settings and adjust weight shift to your ability level. You can also ask your therapist to help you with this setting.
